I have more than 10 years of experience in communications, working across a wide variety of fields. I’ve been a television news journalist, a corporate internal communications manager, a director of communications for an association, and now a freelance consultant. Writing and storytelling has been my passion since I was a child, eventually leading me to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from Northwestern University and a Master’s Degree in Writing & Publishing from DePaul University.
Regardless of the audience, industry, or field I’m working in, my focus with my clients is the same: clear, concise writing and storytelling that informs your community while also building and strengthening the community. Whether the community consists of your members, your clients, or your employees, their needs are the same: they want to feel seen, heard, and supported. It’s my goal to create and foster this across all your communications and audience touchpoints.
